THUNDER BALM

This is a beeswax-based balm, similar to Tiger and Dragon Balms, used for rubbing onto sore and stiff muscles to promote the circulation of Blood and Qi with a warming effect. Especially good for muscular stiffness. This can be used for a general massage since it has a good glide; however, the practitioner's hands may heat up. It is recommended to use this in combination with a massage oil if to be used over a wide area (such as the back). For quicker penetration and effect, add Zheng Gu Shui to spread thin.

Contains beeswax, camphor oil, menthol crystals, cajeput oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil, wintergreen oil, cocoa butter, glycerin.


FIRE BALM

This is a hotter beeswax-based balm, similar to the red Tiger and Dragon Balms, used for rubbing onto sore and stiff muscles to promote the circulation of Blood and Qi with a warming effect. Good for some joint pain as well as muscular stiffness. Sometimes has a delayed effect, as when placed upon the skin, but not noticed until the skin heats up from external or internal heat (hot shower or exercise or hot air temperature). This is a very hot balm, and should be experimented with on a small area of skin. Use with caution.

Contains beeswax, camphor oil, menthol crystals, cajeput oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil, capsicum oil, wintergreen oil, cocoa butter, glycerin, peppermint oil.


CHING WAN HUNG

"Capitol Absolute Red"

This salve is said to promote the circulation of Blood and Qi, cool Heat, stop pain, and promote tissue growth. It is a topical ointment commonly used for burns and scalds. It may reduce pain swelling, and blistering. Chinese also use topically for hemorrhoids, bedsores, acne, as well as sunburn and heat rashes. It is applied topically, and can be covered with a clean bandage. Clean and change daily. It may discolor clothes.

Contains chaenomeles fruit, sanguisorba root, frankincense, lobelia, myrrh, carthamus flower, angelica dang gui, and borneol.
